What is a Moss Pole?

A moss pole provides necessary vertical support for climbing plants (like Monsteras, Pothos, and Philodendrons). Unlike simple stakes, the pole offers a moist medium (such as moss, peat, or coco coir) for the plant’s aerial roots to attach to, mimicking its natural environment and encouraging the development of larger, healthier leaves as the plant matures.

Self-Watering Function

Our 9.5 inch Moss Pole takes the guesswork out of maintaining ideal moisture. Simply fill the pole with your desired growing medium, and run the included cotton wick from the base of the pole into any separate vessel of water. The wick automatically draws moisture up, keeping the medium consistently saturated and your plant’s aerial roots happy.

Material Care & Longevity

• Includes: 9.5 inch pole and cotton self-watering wick.

• We choose to craft with plant-based PLA plastic not only for its lightweight durability but because it is a biodegradable material.

• Heat Sensitivity: This material is sensitive to high heat. While safe for standard indoor and indirect outdoor placement, avoid prolonged exposure to direct, intense summer sun (especially if magnified near glass) or temperatures exceeding 150f (65.5c) to ensure the structural integrity of the pole.
