Trail Clips

Let’s get this plant party started! If you’re trying to create a fuller, bushier plant or propagate through air-layering, our Trail Clips are your new secret weapon. I designed these little U-shaped clips to be the ultimate plant trainers. They gently pin a vine or stem down to the soil, encouraging it to grow new roots right where you want them.
And the best part? They’re printed as one continuous piece, so you’ll never lose them in the bottom of your tool bag. Just snip off as many as you need for your project—the rest stay neatly together until you’re ready for them.
Trail Clips are perfect for training Pothos to cover the top of the pot or helping a stubborn vine make contact with a moss pole. They’re one of those simple, innovative home accessories that make gardening easier and more precise. Elevate your plant game with these handy, 3D printed clips!

📌 Trail Clips: Precision Vine Training
Trail Clips are U-shaped plant pins designed for two essential plant training techniques. Use them to gently pin a vine’s node down to the soil surface to encourage rooting and promote fuller, bushier growth (air-layering). Alternatively, use them to hold stubborn vines securely against a moss pole or support structure. The clips are printed as a continuous piece of six and can be easily separated using standard scissors for immediate use.
Material Care & Longevity
-
We choose to craft with plant-based PLA material for its durable, lightweight, and eco-friendly properties.
-
Storage Note: This material is sensitive to high heat. While durable for everyday use, avoid storing the clips in enclosed spaces that reach extreme temperatures (such as a metal shed, attic, or closed vehicle in summer) to prevent warping.
